Excitement Is In the Air!

Middle and high school student schedules have 6 periods scheduled throughout the day; which allow for core classes and many exciting elective courses.  Qualifying 11th grade students have the opportunity to earn college credit or certification in certain programs by attending the Van Buren Technology Center for part of their academic day.

Our new all-day Virtual Lab specifically allows high school students to gain credits needed for graduation. The Virtual Lab offers a variety of courses to choose from for enrichment purposes and the opportunity to take advanced courses. This program is open to all students who can benefit from such a unique schedule.

Mr. Crusciel, joined the staff of Covert Public Schools in August as our new Physical Education Instructor.  This will allow all students the opportunity to participate in physical education and health.

Further enrichment opportunities for students are available through our After-School Program.  The After School Program for 2014-2015 has been expanded to a 4-day week; Monday through Thursday. The focus is enrichment experiences (drama, music, art, sports) and homework help.

We have one Main Entrance to better serve the needs of parents, guests, customers and our community.  Our Main Office is staffed from 7:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Thursday and 7:00am until 4:00pm on Friday.

For your convenience, please visit our District’s website ( where you will find our district calendar and other educational links. We are looking forward to a wonderful year of education!
